The Centro Universitário FMABC hosted the XIII edition of the International Symposium on Health Sciences Education, SIECS, between September 30th and October 1st, 2025. SIECS is an annual symposium mainly organized by students from the Biomedicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Hospital Management, Nutrition, Psychology, Radiology, and Occupational Therapy courses at the Centro Universitário FMABC. Without the students' active participation, SIECS would not be possible, and we, the faculty, value the continuous construction and maturation achieved with each edition. There are many challenges, but even greater are the lessons learned. It is a path of constant experimentation and growth, a metaphor for the academic trajectory of each student and professional involved in the event, which makes us very proud. This year, the event promoted a multi-professional approach to integrate academic knowledge through the theme "Health Promotion in different life cycles". A theme deeply ingrained in everyone's experience and particularly relevant to those who choose to be healthcare professionals. As defined by the World Health Organization (WHO): health is not merely the absence of disease, but a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. In this context, health promotion encompasses a set of actions that go beyond curative medical care, involving prevention strategies, health education, and public policies aimed at improving the quality of life at all stages of existence. In this way, the Centro Universitário FMABC, through its students and faculty, endeavored to develop lectures and activities during these two days of the XIII SIECS event that discuss and instruct on Health Promotion in Different Life Cycles, with the aim of directly benefiting patients and indirectly the community in which they are located. In this edition, we had significant student participation in the submission of abstracts: 41 works were selected for oral or poster presentation. In this edition, we received abstracts of Systematic Reviews, Original Articles, and Case Reports. The innovation of this edition was the submission of artistic works that made up our first cultural exhibition, called ExpoSIECS. Three participants brightened our event, and one of the works was awarded at the closing ceremony. The XIII SIECS thanks the Rectorate, the Pro-Rectorates, and the Department of Communication for all their support, as well as all the professors and students involved, from our "SIECquerS" in green vests who assisted in all the logistics, in the five committees: lectures, dissemination, abstract, sponsorship, certificate, and ceremony.
